ABOUT LOS CRISTIANOS
Los Cristianos, together with Playa de las Americas and Costa Adeje, the tourist center of southern Tenerife.
This former fishing village adjacent to the west right on the tourist stronghold of Playa de las Americas, both places almost silently into each other. If you walk along the coast of Los Cristianos, within walking you see right at the beginning of the wide sandy beach that you have entered the place. The focal point of Los Cristianos is the port where fishermen still every day with fresh fish entering. From here the ferries to the other Canary islands such as La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro
Because Los Cristianos existed before tourism took off, you'll see some traces of the traditional life. Still live here and live local residents between hotels and the many tourists who come here every year to go. Will notice that the place is quieter than Playa de las Americas. Los Cristianos is doing something friendlier and less en masse.
A major attraction of the place are the two main beaches, which a long promenade with a wide range of restaurants and shops are located.
