From the 1st of June 2013 it is a legal obligation for every property advertised on a website (for sale) to have an EPC

An Energy Performance Certificate ensures that consumers have information on the energy consumption of a home.

When purchasing a home, it is important to pay attention to energy consumption, since these costs from home to home can vary greatly.

The consumer can not judge how it is with the energy quality of the home. Therefore, there is now more recently this Energy Performance Certificate.
